Captiva, founded in 2012, is a Geneva based independent financial advisory & corporate finance company non-exhaustively dedicated to Energy & Commodities players such as producers, traders, financial institutions and investors. Philippe Ziegler, Founder and Managing Director of Captiva Corporate Finance SA Mr Ziegler was previously Head of Energy & Commodity Finance of BNP Paribas in Switzerland for four years. During his thirteen years with the Bank, he was responsible for the establishment of a Credit Department and an extensive Collateral Team.  Beforehand, Mr. Ziegler spent seven years with ING Bank in Switzerland, where he was at the head of the Commodity Finance Department. Previously, he was CFO of a large family owned freight forwarding group in Belgium during five years.  He began his career with Banque Paribas in Geneva followed by a two year tenure with Swiss Bank Corporation in New York. After studying in Brussels, Mr. Ziegler graduated from University of Namur, Belgium with a Bachelor and Master in Economics & Social Sciences and followed a Post-Graduate Program in International Economy at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
